Update on the Prison Yoga Project at HMP Bristol

In additon to the usual weekly  yoga classes held at HMP Bristol; on the 21st and 22nd February I delivered a two-day Yoga and Meditation 'Retreat' Workshop, where we brokedown the asana practice (postures), practiced in depth meditation techniques, pranayama practices and yogic philosophy.

Nine Men attended the full two days; with a couple of other people who attended one of the days due to existing education commitments. At the end of the retreat the men where presented with a 'Certificate of Attendance'. I was really pleased how it went and very grateful to the Phyiscal Education Team for their help.
